Why Solopreneurs Struggle (It’s Not Just You)
Your brain isn’t built to chase a million priorities. Science backs this up (and so does every abandoned and half-launched offer you’ve ever created).
Let me break it down:
Cognitive Load Theory (Sweller, 1988):
Your working memory is tiny. When you overload it with 10 ideas at once, you end up overwhelmed and doing surface-level work. Simplify to one focus for deeper progress.
Selective Attention (Broadbent, 1958):
You literally can’t pay attention to more than one important thing at a time (I know you keep trying, but you really should stop). Choosing one goal channels your focus toward what actually moves the needle.
Goal-Setting Theory (Locke & Latham, 1990):
Specific, challenging goals = high performance.
Scattered goals = watered-down results.
Every “yes” you give to a shiny new idea is a “no” to progress on the thing that could actually grow your business.
Opportunity Cost:
The Progress Principle (Amabile & Kramer, 2011):
Motivation comes from seeing progress. If you’re spread too thin, you never see progress…just exhaustion.
See the pattern? More isn’t more. Focus is more.

My Coaching Framework

Here’s how I help solopreneurs go from all over the place to focused and taking action without the burnout.
Clarify (Find the Leverage Point)
We start by unloading all the things on your plate and identifying the one offer with the most traction or income potential. Think of it as a brain declutter with strategy sprinkled in.

Focus (Commit to One Offer)
Once we know the path, we commit. This means cutting through distractions and creating a clear plan of attack. It’s like relationship advice for your business: stop dating 6 random offers at once and commit to the one that will actually treat you right.

Execute (Build Traction Before Expansion)
This is where accountability kicks in. Weekly sprints, progress tracking, and simple KPIs to keep you consistent. No more busywork. Just the actions that bring in clients and cash flow.

Expand (Scale Once Stable)
Expansion is a privilege, not a starting point. Once your first offer is steady and systemized, then you can shift your focus to scaling. Until then, your job is to stay in the lane we picked together.
Why This Works
A lot of business coaches throw more strategies at you: more funnels, more offers, more complexity. That’s why solopreneurs burn out before they ever see traction.
My approach is different:
Less adding. More subtracting.
Less chaos. More clarity.
Less spinning. More action.
I don’t help you do “all the things.” I help you do the right thing until it works.
Because I know you’ve got to be tired of being in the same place in your business month after month. You need accountability, focus, and someone to lovingly call you out when you’re about to distract yourself (again).

I was overwhelmed with ideas and intentions and the program gave me just the right balance of structure, advice and reasonable space to find clarity and push forward. This program was all about getting specific and focused, and if I ever began to feel overwhelmed I had Chantel there to encourage and support me.

I was able to dial in and stick to one goal. There were multiple touch points that went towards that goal and it allowed me to chunk things into attainable steps. It shifted how I approached my business and allowed me to implement the tools to succeed. I feel more confident, knowledgeable, and successful. I have so much clarity now.

Chantel works with you to a) zero-in and define clear goals, b) [determine] what you want to achieve in a specific time, and c) breaks them down into task-oriented steps, d) and sends weekly questions and exercises that provoke new ways of looking at your thoughts and habits, and encourages you to be kind to yourself as you grow and progress through your tasks. Working on my weekly goals and with Chantel, woke me up, and reminded me that your results are a reflection of where you put your focus, energy and how you talk to yourself.
